NIS4 PRODUCT FAMILY

Newsrooms come in all sizes, with different mixes news channel (television, radio, web, teletext, text TV etc), with different workflows and different third-party systems to integrate with. The NIS4 family of products provide the flexible solution that can be deployed to support any of these operations, and to scale and change as the newsroom develops over time.

GETTING STARTED WITH THE STAND-ALONE NIS4-LITE
Some newsroom are small. Others are larger, but want to trial a newsroom computer system with just a few users before investing in a larger solutions. NIS4-Lite is the small, out-of-the-box newsroom computer system for television and web news operations. No services are required from us—you can just install it locally on a single server and have up to 25 newsroom users (named seats) up and running on this standalone system in a day. The system supports up to 10 exports to external system (but no MOS gateways). We quote an attractive price that includes the central hardware and software, and 3-days training services.

NIS4-PRO FOR THE MORE INTEGRATED OR MEDIUM SIZE NEWSROOM
If you’re looking for a more integrated solution, or a solution for between 25 and 300 users, then NIS4-Pro is the answer. NIS4-Pro will support up to 4 MOS interfaces, up to 50 types of exports and includes the NIS4 Archive and NIS4 Media modules. The solution can be installed on 2 replicating servers for added redundancy. We quote for the software in blocks of 25 or 50 seats, with the price up to 75% less than other leading nrcs suppliers. The level of professional services required, for integration and customisation, will be established as part of our engagement with you.

NIS4-ENTERPRISE FOR THE LARGER NEWSROOM
For the really large newsroom operation, we have NIS4-Enterprise. This product is specifically designed to support almost unlimited numbers of users and to have no technical limits on the number of MOS channels or exports the system may have. Two central servers can be configured in a cluster configuration for optimum redundancy protection.
